It’s like there’s a variety of high-paying positions out there, from finance specialists to risk assessors. Alright, let’s jump into the top five.
Financial Analyst
As a finance professional in life insurance, I was all about analyzing data and giving insights that helped the company informed choices. I used my skills in stats and economic forecasting to predict market fluctuations and investigate how healthy customers’ financial were.
It was difficult, but the money was quite good. And guess what, there’s no feeling like realizing you’ve made a big impact and contributed to the company’s success.
Underwriter
The following role is that of an underwriter. Underwriters essentially determine the degree of risk a client is to the insurance company.
There was this one time I had to figure out if we should give a high-risk client insurance. It was truly a balancing act between making sure the client got what they needed and ensuring the safety of the company. The money was solid, and it was an exceptionally rewarding experience.
Actuary
Actuaries are akin to unsung heroes of the life insurance industry. They calculate figures and statistics to assess the financial risks tied to insurance policies.
When I worked as an actuary, I had to predict what could happen in the future and figure out how much insurance would cost. The role was intensely detail-focused, And it offered a good compensation when compared to other positions. Furthermore, and also, I contributed to some fascinating projects which had a tangible impact on how the company operated.
Product Development Manager
So, as a Product Manager, I was in charge of developing new insurance products and improving existing products. It was a innovative role, but you had to really familiarize with the market and our clients’ requirements.
